How to choose the right custom cup
Start from three questions: what drinks you serve, what effect you want from the print and how many pieces you need. Coffee, tea and hot drinks need paper cups, ideally double-wall for takeaway; cocktails, smoothies and cold drinks are better served in clear PET, PP or PLA cups. If your logo is simple and you want to keep costs down, the economy line with 1 to 3 colour print is the most cost-effective solution; for all-over graphics with solid backgrounds and gradients, choose full colour print.
Paper or transparent plastic?
Paper cups
Made of laminated cardboard or compostable P2P paper, they are suitable for hot and cold drinks. They are available on single or double walls, with full color or economy printing, in formats ranging from espresso to take-away drinks.
Transparent glasses
Made of compostable PET, PP or PLA, they are designed for cold drinks and allow the product to be seen. The printing is 360° up to 3 colors: ideal for cocktail bars, ice cream parlors, smoothies and soft drinks.
Matching straws and coasters
Complete the service with personalized straws in wood fiber or PLA, with a single-color print, and with absorbent wood pulp coasters printed in full color: a detail that makes your establishment recognizable with every drink served.
Frequently Asked Questions
It depends on the line: it starts from 1,000 pieces for full color and P2P paper cups, from 2,000 for the economy line and from 5,000 for PET and PLA clearcoats. The exact minimum quantity is indicated in each line and in each product sheet.
Full color printing customizes the entire surface in four-color printing, with full backgrounds and shades. Economy printing uses 1 to 3 flat colors, without full backgrounds: it is the cheapest solution for simple logos.
Paper cups (cardboard, economy and P2P) are suitable for hot and cold drinks; for take-away coffee and tea there is also a double-walled version. PET, PP and PLA cups are designed for cold drinks.
Yes: P2P paper cups and transparent PLA cups are compostable. Custom straws made of wood fiber or PLA are also available.
