Returns and refunds

1. Sales of products made via the Internet are governed by the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree No. 206/2005) as supplemented and amended by Legislative Decree no. 21/2014 which regulates the matter of distance contracts, i.e. made outside business premises. This legislation establishes the right of withdrawal, or the possibility for the consumer to return the product purchased and to obtain reimbursement of the expense incurred. Pursuant to art. 52 et seq. of the Code this right is valid within 14 days of delivery of the product and is reserved exclusively for customers who are natural persons (or consumers), therefore it cannot be exercised by legal persons and natural persons acting for purposes related to any professional activity carried out, and who therefore indicate in the order form to P & F Packaging & Food srl a reference to VAT number; the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without any penalty and without prejudice to what is indicated in point 4 below.

2. To exercise the right of withdrawal or replace the product because it is defective, the Customer must send to P&F Packaging & Food srl. - E-commerce division- a return request. . For this purpose, the following email address [email protected] can be used.

Upon receipt of the return request, the Web Customer Service will contact you to arrange the return of the goods.

3. At this point it will be necessary to provide, using a courier of your choice, the shipment of the product carefully packed in the original packaging and complete with every accessory, instruction manuals and everything originally contained.


Shipping costs remain the responsibility of the Customer.

P&F Packaging & Food srl., will refund the returned product in this way:

  • within 14 days of receipt of the product if received at the e-commerce Division - Returns Service, by bank transfer.

These refunds will be made using the bank transfer as a means of payment; in any case, the Customer will not incur any costs as a result of such reimbursement.

4. P&F Packaging & Food srl. is not liable for any damage or loss occurred during transport, and reserves the right to charge the Customer for any damage suffered by withholding them from the sums to be reimbursed, up to the full amount invoiced. It is advisable to insure the shipment, through the courier, against theft and transport damage, taking charge of the related expenses.

The right of withdrawal is subject to the following mandatory conditions:

  • the right applies to the product purchased in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise withdrawal only on part of the product purchased;
  • the purchased good must be intact and returned in the original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation; to limit damage to the original packaging, we recommend, when possible, to insert it in a second box; in all cases the affixing of labels or adhesive tapes directly on the original packaging of the product must be avoided;
  • the shipping costs related to the return of the goods are charged to the customer;
  • the shipment, until the certificate of receipt in our warehouse, is under the complete responsibility of the customer;
  • in case of damage to the goods during transport, P&F Packaging & Food srl. will notify the Customer of the incident (within 5 working days of receipt of the goods in its warehouses), to allow him to promptly file a complaint against the courier chosen by him and obtain reimbursement of the value of the goods (if insured); in this case, the product will be made available to the Customer for its return, at the same time the request for withdrawal will be canceled;
  • P&F Packaging & Food srl. is not liable in any way for damage or theft / loss of goods returned by uninsured shipments; The right of withdrawal is totally lost, for lack of the essential condition of integrity of the goods (packaging and / or its contents), in cases where P & F Packaging & Food srl. ascertains:
  • the lack of the external packaging and / or the original internal packaging;
  • the absence of integral elements of the product or anomalies to the product itself;
  • damage to the product for reasons other than its transport.

In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, P&F Packaging & Food srl will return the purchased good to the sender, charging the same shipping costs.

5. Without prejudice to any restoration costs for damage ascertained to the original packaging, P&F Packaging & Food srl will refund the customer the full amount already paid, within 14 days of the return of the goods, through the transfer procedure of the amount charged. In the latter case, it will be the customer's responsibility to promptly provide the bank details on which to obtain the refund (ABI CAB Code - Current Account of the invoice holder, CIN).

6. The right of withdrawal is totally lost, for lack of the essential condition of integrity of the goods (packaging and / or its contents), in cases where P & F Packaging & Food srl ascertains:

  • the lack of the external packaging and / or the original internal packaging;
  • the absence of integral elements of the product or anomalies to the product itself;
  • damage to the product for reasons other than its transport.

Finally, it is recalled that in the event of withdrawal, the consumer is only responsible for the decrease in the value of the goods resulting from a handling of the goods other than that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

In the event of forfeiture of the right of withdrawal, P&F Packaging & Food srl will return the purchased good to the sender, charging the same shipping costs.
