The Eco-incentives of Packaging-online arrive: sustainability is close to our hearts.
In recent years, the imperative to adopt greener strategies and achieve a circular economy in the food field has led governments to issue regulations to reduce food waste and turn towards the use of compostable or recyclable packaging (we talked about it here too).
Packaging-online.it has not shied away from the challenge and, in line with the new indications of the European Community first and the Italian state after, has adopted all the measures to offer its customers products that require the planet the least possible commitment in terms of disposal and that allow to minimize the production and consumption of plastic.
In our catalog you will find many sustainable solutions, produced in compostable materials (such as Paper2Paper cups and glasses or PLA glasses) and reusable (such as cardboard boxes for pastry).
In fact, while some cardboard containers can be covered with a thin layer of polyethylene, the Paper2Paper, used for our line of cups and cups, is made of water-barrier paper, free of any additional plastic or polyethylene coating, and therefore compostable and recyclable. In addition to Paper2Paper, on packaging-online.it you will also find our selection of products in PLA (Polylactic acid, a latest generation polymer obtained from plant materials such as corn) ecological, compostable and disposable in the wet.
Despite our commitment to expanding the offer of green products, we often realize how the transition to a low environmental impact packaging can require a considerable effort for our customers: it is always difficult to replace a container that has been specially designed for a specific food or brand, especially if the material can affect the preservation of the product itself.
For this reason, from today until June 10, all members of our site will be able to benefit from our eco-incentives. A bonus that facilitates them in this transition and helps to create virtuous mechanisms in the packaging sector, reducing the environmental impact due to the service and disposal of disposable products.
All 100% eco-sustainable products included in the initiative will be marked with a special sticker to facilitate recognition and visible in the PROMOsection.
